A tale of revival, care, and unwavering dedication
Lakshmi was found abandoned on a roadside, severely malnourished and injured. Her condition was critical, with wounds that told a tale of neglect and exploitation. Our rescue team immediately brought her to our Gauraksha shelter.
After months of intensive care, nutritious diet, and regular medical check-ups, Lakshmi transformed into a healthy and happy cow. Today, she is the mother of a healthy calf and provides milk that helps sustain our shelter operations.
Lakshmi's story is a testament to the power of compassion and the importance of our mission to protect the sacred cows of India.
